Every feature in every plan

Field records and plant protection records: every feature

PhytAI brings field records, plant protection records and fertilisation under the DüV together in one web application. Every record is attached to a field – so the field record for each field and crop year builds itself.

  • Arable farming
  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Tree nursery

Plant protection recordsGermany only

Every operation as a draft – completed once all required entries are in

Take the product from the BVL register or the farm stock, enter rate, treated area, date and BBCH stage – tank mixes in the same form. PhytAI shows approval, waiting period and conditions of use from the BVL register as you go.

  • Completed records stay unchanged; corrections are saved with a reason and history.
  • Notes on approval, waiting period, conditions of use and treatment intervals.
  • Ready for documentation with a machine-readable export: the year’s records as CSV or JSON.

Data and standards

  • BVL register, synchronised daily
  • EPPO codes
  • BBCH growth stages
  • Field identifier (FLIK)
  • Export as CSV and JSON

Limits: The checks against the BVL register only apply to sites in Germany. They are notes from the BVL register; the decision stays with the farm.

Approval and conditions of useGermany only

See approval, conditions of use and emergency authorisations when choosing the product

PhytAI updates from the BVL register of plant protection products every day. When you choose a product, you see its uses, conditions of use, waiting periods and use-up periods – and add it to the farm stock with its approval number.

  • The conditions check compares the conditions of use with site, date, time, BBCH stage and mixing partners.
  • Distances to water, protected areas, water protection zones and bee protection at a glance.
  • Emergency authorisations under Art. 53 and modes of action for resistance planning.

Data and standards

  • BVL register of plant protection products
  • Emergency authorisations under Art. 53, daily
  • Protected areas (BfN)
  • Water protection areas (BfG)
  • Water bodies (OpenStreetMap)
  • Field blocks NRW

Limits: Only for sites in Germany. Water protection areas appear where the federal source covers the state; field blocks are available for North Rhine-Westphalia. PhytAI does not judge whether an application is permitted.

Fertilisation under the DüVGermany only

Work out the fertiliser requirement per field under the DüV – the calculation is saved with it

PhytAI works out the nitrogen requirement per field under DüV Annex 4 – grassland included. The fertiliser plan, the annual total under Annex 5 and the farm balance with the 170 kg limit build on it.

  • Record soil samples or import lab values as CSV.
  • Plan applications in the fertiliser plan and record the fertilisation on the field.
  • Manure exports and imports, farm-gate and humus balance; in Lower Saxony, create the XML for ENNI.

Data and standards

  • DüV Annexes 4, 5 and 7
  • 170 kg limit
  • Humus balance (VDLUFA)
  • Farm-gate balance
  • Lab import as CSV
  • ENNI XML (Lower Saxony)

Limits: Only for sites in Germany. State rules such as the designation of nitrate-sensitive (red) areas are still for you to check; you enter the source yourself.

Field records and fields

The digital field record fills up with every operation

The field record shows every operation per field and calendar or crop year and can be printed. You manage fields on the map with official base maps and aerial images.

  • Import field boundaries: Shape file as ZIP, GeoJSON or ISOXML; further fields and crop cycles from a CSV template.
  • Draw, split, merge – with field ID, size, organic status and version history.
  • For every field, PhytAI shows protected areas, water protection zones and nearby water bodies.

Data and standards

  • Shapefile (ZIP)
  • GeoJSON
  • ISOXML field boundaries
  • Field identifier (FLIK)
  • basemap.de and state aerial imagery
  • CSV templates

Limits: You import field boundaries from files, such as the Shapefile of your subsidy application; there is no direct retrieval from the state portals. An ISOXML export is not included.

How it all fits together

From the task to the export without rework

Tasks, contract jobs and observations lead into the same draft record. What you complete takes effect across the whole farm.

  1. Step 1

    Task done

When a treatment or fertilisation task is done, or a contractor reports their work back through the job link, the draft record is created.

  2. Step 2

    Check the draft

Add the required entries and check the notes from the BVL register. The decision stays with the farm.

  3. Step 3

    Complete

The usage is booked out of stock. If a waiting period is still running on the field, the harvest lot is locked.

  4. Step 4

    Export

Download the year’s records as CSV or JSON – ready for documentation with a machine-readable export.

Everything in every plan

More features for the whole farm

Planning, stock, evidence, team and weather run in the same system – included in every plan.

Crop planning, rotation and tasks

You plan crop cycles with stages from the crop catalogue; PhytAI works out the seed requirement. When a treatment or fertilisation task is done, it becomes the draft record.

  • Check the crop rotation in a matrix with GAEC notes.
  • Tasks with due date, repetition and the person in charge.
  • Irrigation with water sources and meter readings, greenhouse environments with target ranges.

Limits: The GAEC notes currently cover GAEC 6 and 7 (GLÖZ in Germany).

Stock, harvest and gross margin

Completed records book products out of stock automatically; below the minimum stock a note appears. E-invoices from agricultural merchants are read in and suggested as receipts.

  • XRechnung (UBL, CII) and ZUGFeRD / Factur-X.
  • Harvests as lots with quality and stock movements – locked while a waiting period is running on the field.
  • Stock book, gross margin per crop, export as CSV and XLSX.

Limits: E-invoices are read in: XRechnung as XML and ZUGFeRD/Factur-X as PDF with embedded XML. Only what you confirm line by line is booked.

Evidence, machinery and certificates

Sprayer inspection under § 16 PflSchG, competence certificate under § 9 PflSchG, maintenance, water abstraction, water quality and organic supplier certificates are kept in one place.

  • Machinery with type and cost rates.
  • People, even without their own account.
  • A note while recording when evidence has expired or is due soon.

Limits: PhytAI reminds you of deadlines; the inspection itself is still carried out by the responsible authorities.

Team, roles and contract work

Every plan includes any number of users. Contractors receive a job as a link and report their work back without an account – as a draft record.

  • Roles: owner, manager, adviser, field team, reader.
  • Invitation by e-mail, notifications in the app and by e-mail.
  • Audit log.

Limits: Data is private to each farm; other farms cannot see it. Anyone who works for several farms switches between them.

Weather, spray windows and observations

For every site, PhytAI shows weather data from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) with spray windows and treatment intervals.

  • Record observations in the crop with a photo.
  • They turn into follow-up tasks until the point is resolved.
  • Assign follow-up tasks to a person.

Limits: The spray window is an estimate from weather data; the farm makes the decision. Trap monitoring and image notes are in the beta programme.

Analyses, reports and full data export

Reports show usage, yields per hectare and crop areas; you export tables as CSV and XLSX. The data belongs to your farm.

  • Full data export as a ZIP archive with every table as JSON and CSV and the stored files.
  • Created and downloaded by the owner – the link is valid for 24 hours.

Limits: Up to 50,000 rows per table and 200 MB of files per archive, larger tables via continuation archives; up to five archives a day.

  • CSV
  • XLSX
  • JSON
  • Shape
  • GeoJSON
  • ZIP

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about the features

More on switching: Switching from 365FarmNet – step by step

Are all features included in every plan?

Yes. All plans include the same features and any number of users; they differ only by the farmed area: €59.00 up to 50 ha, €179.00 up to 250 ha and €419.00 up to 1,000 ha a year, each including VAT.

Is PhytAI suitable for electronic records from 2027?

From 1 January 2027, applications of plant protection products must be recorded electronically and in machine-readable form (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564). PhytAI records the required entries, checks the required fields and exports the records as CSV and JSON.

Does PhytAI tell me whether I may use a product?

No. PhytAI shows notes from the BVL register on authorisation, conditions of use, pre-harvest interval and emergency authorisations. The decision stays with the farm.

Is there an app for smartphones?

PhytAI is a web application and runs in current browsers on computer, tablet and smartphone. A dedicated app and working without a connection are in preparation and not yet released.

Can I bring my data over from 365FarmNet?

You import field boundaries directly from the Shapefile that 365FarmNet provides as a ZIP. Importing old bookings from the 365FarmNet CSV is in the beta programme. The switching guide shows which data you should back up before 30 Nov 2026.

Does PhytAI work outside Germany?

The interface is available in German, English, Dutch, Spanish and Greek. The legal checks, such as the comparison with the BVL register and the fertiliser requirement under the DüV, only apply to sites in Germany.
