Field records that check the required entries for you

Record plant protection and fertilisation once – PhytAI shows missing required entries, gives notes from the BVL register and exports everything in machine-readable form.

  • BVL registerProducts updated daily
  • Fertiliser requirement (DüV)per field under Annex 4
  • Open exportCSV, JSON, XLSX, Shape
  • One feature setEverything in every plan
Required from 1 January 2027

Plant protection records: electronic and machine-readable

The new required entries apply since 2026. From 2027, applications are recorded electronically in a machine-readable format under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564 – a PDF file is not enough.

  1. Since 1 January 2026More required entries: approval number, EPPO code, BBCH stage
  2. Until 31 December 2026Complete written records still allowed
  3. From 1 January 2027Electronic, machine-readable, e.g. CSV, JSON or XML

Until now: notes, spreadsheet, PDF

  • You check yourself whether all required entries are complete – entry by entry.
  • You look up approval, waiting period and conditions of use separately.
  • From 2027, a PDF file does not count as machine-readable.

With PhytAI: checked entries

  • Before a record is completed, PhytAI shows which required entry is still missing.
  • Notes from the BVL register on approval, waiting period and conditions of use – the decision stays with the farm.
  • Ready for documentation with a machine-readable export as CSV and JSON.

The rules of your federal state and the competent authority apply. Retention: plant protection until the end of the third, fertilisation until the end of the seventh calendar year after the application.

In three steps

How PhytAI works

From the field boundary to the machine-readable record – in the browser on computer, tablet and smartphone.

  1. Import your fields

Upload a Shape file as ZIP, GeoJSON or ISOXML, check it in the preview, import it. Fields with a FLIK are recognised.

  2. Record operations

Record plant protection and fertilisation in one form, tank mixes included. PhytAI shows which required entry is still missing.

  3. Export the records

Completed records as CSV and JSON, tables as XLSX, field boundaries as Shape – complete at any time.

Features

Every feature in every plan

Records, planning and evidence in one place, with as many people and roles as you need.

  • Arable farming
  • Vegetable growing
  • Fruit growing
  • Tree nursery
  • Protected cultivation
  • Contractors and advisers
  • Plant protection records

Nothing forgotten: product, rate, area and BBCH stage in one form, tank mixes included. Required fields are checked, corrections are kept with their reason.

  • Conditions in view: product search in the BVL register, updated daily. The conditions check compares site, date, time, stage and mixing partners.

  • Plan your fertilisation: nitrogen requirement per field under Annex 4, grassland included – with fertiliser plan, annual total under Annex 5 and the 170 kg limit.

  • Every field at a glance: field boundaries on official maps and aerial images, every operation per field and crop year.

  • Enter things once: crop rotation matrix with GAEC notes, tasks in the calendar – completed treatments become a draft record.

  • Stock that adds up: records book products out, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD invoices become receipts, harvests become lots with a waiting-period lock.

  • No missed deadlines: sprayer inspection under § 16 and competence under § 9 PflSchG, with a note when evidence is due soon.

  • Everyone works along: as many users with roles as you need. Contractors report their work back through a link, without an account.

  • Plan better: spray windows and treatment intervals per site from Open-Meteo data, observations with photos and follow-up tasks.

  • Reports and export

Your data belongs to your farm: reports on usage, yields per hectare and crop areas. The full export contains every table with its files.

  • In the beta programme

On request for farms in the beta programme, not yet part of the contractual scope of service.

    • Import of old 365FarmNet bookings Beta

Data ownership

Independent of manufacturers: your data stays portable

PhytAI is an independent field record, not software from a farm machinery manufacturer.

  • Not tied to a brand

Field boundaries from the Shape file of your subsidy application or an ISOXML export.

  • Complete export

Every table as JSON and CSV with its files, field boundaries as Shape and GeoJSON.

  • Hosted in Germany

Processing under the GDPR with a data processing agreement.

  • Private to each farm

The data belongs to your farm. Other farms cannot see it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

There is more on prices and features on the Pricing and Features pages.

What is PhytAI?

PhytAI is a web application for agriculture and horticulture. It brings field records, plant protection and fertilisation records, evidence such as sprayer inspections and competence certificates, and team tasks together – private to each farm.

Is PhytAI suitable for the electronic records required from 2027?

From 1 January 2027, applications of plant protection products are recorded electronically and in machine-readable form (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564, amended by (EU) 2025/2203). PhytAI records the required entries, checks the required fields and exports the records as CSV and JSON. The rules of your federal state and the competent authority apply.

Does PhytAI tell me whether I may apply a product?

No. PhytAI shows notes from the BVL register on approval, conditions of use, waiting period and emergency authorisations; the decision stays with the farm. PhytAI is no substitute for legal advice, and legal checks currently apply only to sites in Germany.

I use 365FarmNet – how do I switch to PhytAI?

365FarmNet will be switched off on 30 November 2026. Before then, download the field boundaries under Pflanzenbau → Schläge with “Download” as a Shape file in a ZIP folder, and back up reports and records. In PhytAI you import the ZIP file; fields with a FLIK are created automatically. If you book by 30 Nov 2026, we import the field boundaries for you.

Is there an app for smartphones?

PhytAI is a web application and runs in current browsers on computer, tablet and smartphone. A dedicated app and working without a connection are in preparation and not yet released.

Which farms and countries is PhytAI meant for?

For arable farming, vegetables, fruit, nurseries and protected cultivation. The interface is available in German, English, Dutch, Spanish and Greek. The comparison with the BVL register and the fertiliser requirement under the DüV apply to sites in Germany.

Who owns my data and can I take it with me?

The data belongs to your farm. Records can be exported at any time as CSV, JSON and XLSX, field boundaries as Shape, and the full data export contains every entry with its attached files. The details are in the privacy notice.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

Your data and the export stay available. You book in the app under Account → Package, billed yearly in advance by invoice or SEPA direct debit; a 30-day money-back guarantee applies from the start of use.
